Located on the creek in downtown Frederick, Idiom is the go-to spot for day drinking, listening to local bands perform, trivia on Wednesdays, and hanging out with the local pups that visit with their owners. Idiom’s indoor seating area is huge, with 2 taprooms and plenty of room to spread out. They also have a good amount of outdoor creek seating, as well as delivery & carry out for all of their cans & crowlers! Food trucks are parked outside on the daily so check Idiom’s Instagram for daily updates. Friendly dogs are allowed indoors & outdoors so don’t forget to bring all your furry friends along.
Their New England IPAs and Fruited Sours are my usual go-to’s. When it’s a little colder out their stouts will warm you right up as well. Their “Phased” NEIPA series is a must-try when available- Phased #10 is my favorite (they have 12 iterations of this series so far #1-#12). When you visit, be sure to get at least small pours of everything they have to offer- you won’t be disappointed!
